Minoru Mineta is a student at U.A. High School in the Hero Course. He is known for his rather peculiar personality and his lewd behavior, especially towards his female peers, which often leads to comedic situations. Despite his misgivings and shortcomings, he is a determined individual who wants to become a hero and overcome his limitations. His quirk, Pop Off, allows him to create small balls that are sticky, providing him with the ability to hinder opponents or create makeshift escape routes. Over the course of the series, he develops relationships with his classmates, including Deku and Bakugo, and learns the values of teamwork and perseverance. As the series progresses, he begins to show signs of growth both as a hero and an individual.
